It was a very fortunate day, when United Airlines came to our rescue committing to supply us with very special gifts of comfort. Their pillows are actually purchased from a company that hires handicapped adults in our own community. These have been graciously donated to The Patriotic Pillow Project. These small items have a huge effect when graced with the handmade pillowslips that symbolize our United States Flag. All the pillow covers are made by concerned, caring & compassionate citizens of this great Nation. This special business has made a great contribution towards reminding our injured G.I.s how much we are thinking about them. We care about each & every Man & Woman who has served & sacrificed for our Country.
We have receive approximately 2,000 and have delivered these finished gifts of recognition, in a very short period of time. However, we could still use additional sewers and notes of gratitude. Let’s spread the word across this Nation and share our respect and appreciation towards our wounded. They are truly the most special adults I have ever had the privilege to know.

This very special family run business that is also a UPS shipping center had been so helpful with packing & shipping our deliveries to The Military Medical facilities that we need to deliver our special hand-made pillows to.
