Kitchen Komforts and new initiative from The Patriotic Pillow Project!

It is with immense gratitude that we thank the business establishment of Caribou Coffee Company, located in Tinley Park, IL.  We have been the recipients of more than # 31 pounds of freshly ground delicious gourmet coffee blends.  This coffee is being sent overseas to our Troops serving in both Iraq & Afghanistan.  These cups full of a Taste of Home will lift the spirits of those enjoying the flavor and aroma, of their own American Kitchen Memories.

We will call this new innovative program, part of the “Patriotic Pillow Project,” a new initiative. It will be from this day hence, referred to as “Kitchen Komforts.”   We also to have a program called “Kenny’s Kaps,” so this will be our K#2 program. The Patriotic Pillow Project otherwise known as P#3, has to this date delivered more than 10,000 gifts of Comfort to America’s Healing Heroes, Gold Star Families, Troops & Veterans throughout the world.  We have flown to DC to visit these Precious Patriots in recovery, at either Walter Reed Army Medical Center or Bethesda #19 times in 4 & ½ years. Our son has  just retunred from his 2^nd tour, first deployment Iraq 15 months, a year having served in Afghanistan.

We will send Support over seas that will provide a Unique touch of Home, from “Sunrise to Sunset”……. Our Troops will awaken to the fragrance of a Fresh Brew, and drift to sleep supported by a grateful America. Fuel to face the day and a safe place to rest & respite when the need be.  A Special greeting card will be sent for each package of Coffee contributed, to send a message of Support & Remembrance. This will let them know we are keeping these fine Heroes from the “Strongest Generation” in our Thoughts, daily.

It is because of great generous community support such as The Caribou Coffee Company establishment that we are able to provide these small measures of gratitude, and a Nation’s respect & love.  Thank You for your generous contribution to lift the Spirits of a G.I. while they serve in harm’s way.  Your gifts have “Made a Difference!”
